The university’s campus numbers 15 buildings and offers the only true campus experience by a private university in Cyprus. Overall, all of the university’s affiliated units consist of 19 buildings in Cyprus, Greece and Romania.
Since achieving university status in 2007, the University of Nicosia has added 1 extension in the Central Building and 5 other buildings with a total coverage of 7,322 square meters.
This extra capacity is in part required by the number of different programmes added. To a great extent, it provides more specialized services/labs/teaching rooms and can accommodate a much larger number of students. The table below briefly summarizes the changes in buildings since 2007-2008.
|Number of Buildings||10||15||50.00%|
|Total Space (in square meters)||25,998||33,320||28.16%|
|Number of Classrooms||42||66||57.14%|
|Number of Labs/Studios||30||60||100.00%|
